The Company:
Packaging company that specialises in luxury bespoke printed cartons & boxes for Food and Beverage, Retail, Cosmetics & Giftware.
The role:
- New business development role covering Scotland
- Explore and develop new business opportunities with targeted customers
- Maximise these opportunities and develop a long-term working relationship to allow growth
- Devise a sales strategy, sales forecast and budget
- Identify appropriate niche markets for development by the company
- Negotiate and secure, within agreed parameters, profitable business
- Co-ordinate with other sites to allow maximum development where possible
- Manage customer requirements and present new innovations in co-ordination with other departments
- Be a positive ambassador for the Company and establish strong relationships with the customer promoting the Company’s USP’s
- Maintain effective communications with all sections of the company.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sales Representative or working within the Print industry
- A minimum of 5 GCSE qualifications or equivalent including Maths and English
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
- Flexibility, willingness to train and develop within the role
- Clean, valid driving licence
Desirable requirements:
- A third level qualification or equivalent
