The Role:
- To set up and operate the rewind machines using hand tools
- Read job sheets and follow instructions accurately
- Inspect quality while the machine is running
- Quality check the finished goods
- Pack the finished goods into boxes and load them by hand onto a pallet
- Maintain excellent housekeeping in the factory
- Load the pallet onto the wrapping machine using a FLT
- Assist the team as required
Requirements:
- Experience working in a factory environment is preferred
- Experience working in a team environment is preferred
- Forklift Truck License preferred
- Grade 4+ in English and Maths
- A willingness to learn and become part of the friendly, dedicated team
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must have the ability to read and write English and interpret documents such as the Health and Safety manual, operating and maintenance instructions and risk assessments
- Manual dexterity
- Excellent attendance
- Ability to work well in a team
- Ability to multitask
- Strong work ethic
