The Role:
• As an Area Sales Manager for Lubricants, your primary responsibility will be to drive growth and expand market share for their brands, both with existing customers and new customers across all industrial sectors.
• You will play a pivotal role in identifying and developing new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and fostering strong relationships with both existing and potential clients to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
• Your efforts will contribute significantly to the success and profitability of their brands.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, distributors, and partners.
• Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
Product Expertise:
• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the features, benefits, and applications of their lubricant products.
• Communicate product value propositions clearly to customers and provide technical support as needed.
Market Insights:
• Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Utilize market insights to anticipate customer needs and position their products effectively.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the unique value of their products.
• Engage in effective negotiations to secure favourable terms and contracts.
Sales Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, interactions, and progress towards sales goals utilizing proficiently CRM and Navision.
• Generate regular sales reports for internal tracking and reporting purposes.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements:
• Min 5 years experience within the industry
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Experience in a similar position, and past accomplishments in developing new business.
• Mature hands-on team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence.
• Both target/customer oriented.
• The ability to work on your own initiative and effectively manage your own workload.
• Build and expand client relationships and meet sales targets.
