Print Finisher
Salary:
£24K - £26K Dep on Exp

Yorkshire & the Humber
Shift: Double day shift: 6:00am to 1:30pm and 1:30pm to 9pm
The Company:
Leading provider of high-quality print solutions which include litho, digital & large format printing.
The Role:
• As a Print Finishing Operator, you will ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the Finishing Machines
• Operating various print finishing equipment including guillotines, folders and stitchers
• To understand every job and follow lists to ensure all work completed
• To finish every job within allocated time scales and to a high quality, ensuring quality file copies separated and labelled on every job
• Implement maintenance tasks to plan
• Be responsible for general cleanliness of the finishing department as a part of the daily routine
• Liaise with the Finishing Supervisor to ensure work is completed as required
• Reduce machine down time for make-readies and breakdowns
• Reduction of running times, while still ensuring quality, as measured against quoted targets
• Reduction of waste in respect of reprints as monitored by Reprint Analysis
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Print Finishing Operator
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Manual Handling from lifting/stacking of paper in accordance with HSE guidelines
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• To be well presented for work and conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner at all times
• Fulfil the Company’s requirements with regard to the Company’s Management Information Systems at all times
• Follow all administrative procedures adopted by the Company at all times
