The Company:
Large Format print & signage company for Retail, Exhibitions, Indoor/Outdoor Events, Hotels, Museums.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate finishing machinery for large format print: vinyl and signage for a range of different projects
- Carry out finishing tasks including mounting, laminating, trimming, guillotining, routing, and vinyl application
- Using rollers for laminating and mounting
- Operating a Kongsberg cutting table
- Inspect and examine printed materials for quality and accuracy, ensuring they meet the client’s specifications and requirements and to report any issues to management
- Liaise with various departments, suppliers and the shop floor to sequence work, secure materials and meet tight deadlines while keeping quality standards
- Work to Company Health and Safety procedures
Key Requirements:
- Experience in large format print finishing
- Strong knowledge of print materials, substrates, and finishing techniques
- Experience with large format print and finishing equipment
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Proactive, organised, and willing to learn new skills
- A practical, problem-solving approach
