Service Engineer – Machine Tools
Salary:
Circa £37k + o/time + company car

East Midlands
The Company:
Well established machine manufacturer
The Role:
• Machine commissioning
• Service and maintenance of their high-tech cutter grinders and circular saw machines for the production and maintenance of tools
• Emergency breakdowns and callouts
• Customer Service – Troubleshooting – customer machine faults & enquiries, identifying spare parts when required
• Operator Training on Customer Sites within the UK & Ireland
• Participation in Exhibitions – Bi-annual
Requirements:
• Experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering.
• PLC and SAP knowledge would be an advantage
• Flexible well organised with good communications skills
• A high degree of customer orientation and the willingness to travel
• German language would be an advantage but not essential
• Induction training would be given here in their UK offices as well as at their European Headquarters when Covid-19 Travel restrictions ease.
