Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer

The Role:
Covering the UK and Ireland (once a quarter)
- Machine installations and commissioning
- Both reactive and planned maintenance and repairs on our vast range of machinery.
- To undertake fault diagnosis and implement corrective actions in order to minimise customer downtime.
- Flexibility to travel throughout the UK with the occasional overnight stays required, however this is split equally between the service team.
- Customer interaction is required both face to face on site but also in an office environment, taking phone calls and emailing customers.
- Operator Training will be required as experience grows, teaching the customers how to operate the machines successfully.
- Participation in Exhibitions – Bi-annual
Requirements:
- Apprentice trained background
- With minimum Qualification of NVQ / C+G Level 3 or greater with an electrical or mechanical bias ideally in a maintenance field.
- Experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with CNC machinery and automation processes
- Methodical mind-set, contributing to successful fault finding.
- Ability to work successfully as a team but also individually.
- A general enthusiasm for engineering and the willingness to carry out a job and see it through.
- A high degree of customer orientation
- Self-motivation is key.
