Account Manager




North West

Location: Manchester

Salary: Up to £40k (negotiable depending on experience)

The Role:

  • My client is looking for an Account Manager to join their growing Accounts Team
  • Your main responsibility will be leading day-to-day client relationship management, which includes effective communication, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Additionally, you will oversee delivering a continuous succession of packaging projects to meet the client’s requirements and expectations.
  • As an Account Manager, you will establish and maintain relationships with client contacts, building an understanding of the Company’s and the client’s industry, business, and products.
  • Involved in the creation and implementation of the account strategy to support and deliver business growth and profitability.
  • Develop a strong working relationship with the client.
  • Ensure that the delivery is maintained once new business has been identified.
  • Key client contact, on and off-site, client meetings and presentations
  • Development and growth of the services provided by the supplier are essential to building relationships with clients.
  • Producing work documentation on time for the right first production.
  • Ensuring client expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Measurement of performance levels and conducting reviews
  • Provide budget and forecast information.
  • Ensuring invoicing data is correct to allow timely payment.
  • Involvement in print feasibility, artwork, and reprographics
  • Evaluating colour control with the supply chain
  • Coordinating print feasibility on behalf of the supply chain
  • Identification of project planning resource
  • Managerial direction of their client services team
  • Additional duties as assigned.



  • Confident in the Design, Artwork, and repro process
  • Experience in the packaging sector (including colour separation).
  • High level of print knowledge with the ability to communicate this to clients.
  • Understanding of colour management – Knowledge and comprehension of the demands and necessities of a supply chain.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in office software, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook – Good literacy and numeracy skills as you will be producing reports and documents.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented open-plan environment.
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
  • Proven experience managing and growing relationships with key accounts in a client-facing role.
