£40k – £45k + bonus + company car

Responsibilities:
• To support the development of sales and market share growth within Machine Tool Manufacturers & Agents, both technically and commercially.
• To take the lead in the application of new machine investment projects, provide technical data and cutting strategies in order to secure and win business for the company
• To develop relationships with key stake holders at all levels within the MTM’s/MTA’s in order to promote and secure MTS projects and Non-Tooled machine opportunities that will help secure long term after -market business for the company
• Supports and execute MTS strategies inside the Cluster
• Work closely with key portfolio of MTM/MTA partners and proactively seek MTS opportunities
• Develop new MTM/MTA partners and expand MI market shares from both new and existing MTS accounts
• Support sales organization on end users MTS projects
• Develop tool up solutions and proposals
• Selection and application of cutting tools within key industries and working with modern machine tool technologies
• Support the development of component feature and best practice solutions
• Execute the Non-Tooled Machine strategy inside regions in coordination with SR manager, RSM’s & local frontline sales
• Ensure the development of high level relationships at the MTM,MTA & MTD’s located inside your area of responsibility
• Collaborate and coordinate with Projects & Services and other functions in managing MTM/MTA partners expectations and fulfill MTS solutions
• Document and present Machine Tool Solutions ways of working to their end-user customers, MTM’S & MTA’s
• Information sharing & overall communication both to sales teams and to management inside the sales area
• Take the technical lead on projects and ensure they achieve the customers’ expectations
• Ensure they capture all opportunities in each project through bundling offers, including but not limited to) digital software, hardware and services.
Requirements:
• Technical degree or related experience
• 5 + years related metal cutting experience
• 3+ years sales experience
• Previous project management experience
• Broad & in-depth experience of metal cutting activities.
• Intermediate/Advanced skills with MS Office; incl Dynamics would be desirable.
• Strong technical, sales & planning skills are required with a proven ability to be able to work with alternative sales channels. ie. Distributors & Machine Tool Agents
• Strong verbal & written communication skills are required
• Strong presentation skills essential
• Good overall knowledge of the metal cutting industry, having experience dealing with MTM’s or large cross functional projects
• Excellent organizational skills and strong time management abilities are a prerequisite
• General understanding of CAD/CAM systems
• Project management skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to leverage the strength of a matrix/ network
