Our client is a high-quality Litho & Large Format Print & Display company.

Responsibilities · Assist as a Number 2 on a 105 KBA Press · Place paper and ink on press · Cleaning and Washing machine Alerting managers to any possible defects noted during cleaning · Plating up machine · Working within Health and Safety guidelines · Order material in time to aid smooth running of department · Responsible for material to be delivered safe through the machine · Reduce waste material to a minimum · Reduce downtime to a minimum · Aid the No1 to maintain a smooth workflow within the department · Produce maintenance as and when required · Keep the workspace and machines clean and clear of clutter · Operate other machinery if and when needed · Improve/ identify efficiencies that can be made · Report and work closely with your line manager to adhere to the business requirements |

Shift Pattern: Day Shift rota: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, week off, then Thursday, Friday, Saturday 06.45am-19.15pm |
Requirements:
- 5+ years record of success in the print industry working in a similar role
- Highly organised and proactive approach to work
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Flexible approach to working hours
- Comprehensive understanding of litho printing
- Excellent knowledge of printing materials
