Large Format Print Operator

£30k-£35k + overtime

40 hours per week (Day Shift/Monday-Friday)
The Company:
- Large format printing and design specialists
The Role:
- PDF Editing – good knowledge of acrobat pro is essential
- Ability with Illustrator and InDesign – Knowledge of repro tasks in both programs is important
- Spot colour creation, Layers, Masks, Deconstruction of AI files etc. in both Illustrator and InDesign
- Knowledge of how colours are made, e.g. tweaking of CMYK values at print stage
- Software used: Adobe CC, Print factory (Important)
- To be available to work outside of set weekly hours as & when required
Key Responsibilities:
- Print manage work flow
- Operation and maintenance of printers
- Monthly Stock management of materials & supplies
- Ordering supplies
- Some Intermediate art working projects
- Pre-flighting all work ready for printing Print Factory Rip
- Daily Job list creation
- Generating delivery notes and courier labels
- Supply Proof of deliveries
- Knowledge of Installations
- Operate Suma vinyl plotter
- Operate Ag Cad flatbed cutter
- Generate print and cut files for machines
- Providing customers with prepress proofs
- Ensure a clean & tidy working environment at all times
- Health & Safety awareness
