Junior Technical Sales Engineer

Salary: Up to £35k basic + commission + car
Company/ Sector: The company develop, manufacture and distribute innovative and high-precision products for metal cutting. Their products are used in many different sectors and industries. In tool and mold making, aerospace, medical technology, the energy sector and general mechanical engineering.
The Role:
- With the active support by one of their experienced colleagues, you will be trained how to sell their complex, advice-intensive products and to serve their qualified high-end clients.
- Furthermore, your duties will include answering technical sales calls and providing technical customer service on the phone and through emails.
- Machine installations and trainings at customers, customer visits and exhibitions require flexibility and willingness to travel throughout Ireland and Northern-Ireland.
- After an intense period of training, you will be responsible for your own independent territory with a high turnover potential.
Requirements:
- Completed technical education, ideally with further formation in the field of technical engineering
- Profound expertise with main focus on tool clamping and milling technology
- Experience and success in technical sales is beneficial
- The ability to work independently, an entrepreneurial mindset and customer service orientation
- Outgoing personality, good communication skills and a self-confident manner at the customer
- Knowledge in English written and verbal, German skills would be considered a plus
