39 hours per week, 5 days a week (Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4pm & Friday 7:30 – 3pm)

The Role:
- As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerically controlled (CNC) routing machines to produce precision parts and components.
- Your role will be vital in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of their manufacturing processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Set up and prepare CNC machines for production runs, including loading materials, tool selection, and programming machine parameters.
- Operate CNC machines to perform machining operations such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Conduct in-process quality checks and inspections to verify that parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
- Make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and tool changes.
- Report and troubleshoot any machine malfunctions or irregularities.
- Maintain an organized tool inventory, ensure tool readiness, and replace worn or damaged tools as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety procedures to prevent accidents.
- Record production data, including machine settings, measurements, and quantities produced.
- Complete production logs and reports as required.
- Identify and address machining issues, tool wear, or programming errors to minimize production downtime.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure production schedules are met and communicate any production-related issues or concerns.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and machine programming.
