Our client is a Large Format Graphics and display Company. They manufacture and install graphics for various sectors including retail and architectural.
They are a seeking a Zund Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining their Zund cutting machines. This role is crucial to their production process, as the Zund Operator will ensure that their products are accurately cut, finished and packed to the highest quality standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate Zund cutting machines
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
• Use measuring tools to ensure that products are cut to the correct specifications
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform regular maintenance
• Collaborate with other members of the production team to ensure timely completion of projects
• Monitor and maintain inventory of materials needed for production
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience as a Zund Operator
• Experience with CNC routing, Zund cutting, and other digital cutting machines
• Knowledge of technical drawings and blueprints
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, rulers, and micrometers
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
