The Company:
My client are a CNC machine tools distributor
Responsibilities:
- My client are looking for an apprentice trained CNC Applications Engineer or Programmer/Machinist from within the machine tool industry to join their dedicated team of field based training & applications engineers (turning & milling experience would be an advantage)
- The role will involve travelling to company showrooms & customers sites to train & demonstrate the company’s extensive range of machines and will involve some nights away.
Requirements:
- The successful applicant will have done a minimum of a 4 year apprenticeship in the engineering sector preferably with CNC programming/machining experience.
- The applicant should be comfortable working with machine tools & have good communication skills.
- Experience with Siemens controlled machines is beneficial although not essential as training will be given on control aspects of the machines.
