Provide the necessary day-to-day sales and technical support that is required to meet the sales objectives of the company.
Identify, develop and monitor sales with specific distribution and direct end user accounts to effectively cover designated sales area and achieve company sales targets
Make regular customer calls with Distributor sales personnel to accounts and other end-users that are potential customers for company products
Independently identify and develop new customers
Technically support company products at their end users and their distributors
Document products performance by regularly preparing and submitting test reports and cost savings documents as required
Submit reports and forecasts as requested on a regular and prompt basis
Adhere to company policies and procedures during day-to-day business activities
Always conduct his/herself in a manner that would reflect proudly upon the image of the company
Monitor Competitor Activities
Apply and demonstrate products using examples or catalogues and emphasize value added features and benefits to the end user
maintain thorough working application knowledge of all company products using Product Announcements/ catalogues and regular communication with Product Managers
Regularly communicate market trends and competitor activity to the General Manager
promote the company image and products through customer attendance to Head Office and involvement in / Seminars / Product Launch / Promotions / Exhibitions / Visits
Other duties that may be agreed with you to enhance the company’s image and/or performance
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years sales experience with industrial cutting tools OR Five years of manufacturing experience and an ability to sell
Must have manufacturing experience including CNC machining and/or programming
General understanding of business practices
Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills including the ability to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint
