The Company:
Our client is a high-quality Large Format Print & Display graphics company. Specialising in outdoor graphics and bespoke graphic solutions for offices, retail, events & exhibitions.
Responsibilities
- Planning and organising production schedules
- Assessing project and resource requirements
- Calculating and agreeing production timescales with project managers/clients
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- Determining quality control standards
- Overseeing production processes
- Re-negotiating production timescales or schedules as necessary
- Selecting, ordering purchasing materials and manage storage process
- Organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
- Liaising with management and sales staff
- Supervising the work of junior staff
- Organising relevant training sessions
- Maintain a workflow system which improves the efficiency within the team
- Keeping abreast of industry technical developments, researching and recommending production equipment as necessary
Requirements:
- Management experience and knowledge of print production processes and machinery
- Solid experience in a managerial/production planning role
- As the successful candidate, you will have good all round knowledge of large format production, and will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in production and installation management
- You will have a keen eye for quality and be happy to play a hands on role
- Good communication skills will be essential
