The main purpose of the Internal Sales Engineer role is to provide full support to their international sales channels and end users in the technical and commercial aspects of metal detection sales.
Review all customer specifications for non-standard products to assess if they can manufacture the product, assess and potential issues which could affect lead time and work with other departments to identify the feasibility
Create order specifications for order processing
Prepare non-standard quotes and specifications
Assess queries received and liaise with the appropriate department to resolve
Provide technical assistant with particular regard to mechanical queries an product capabilities
Carry out product tests to establish product sensitivity and share results
Previous experience working in a commercially focused environment supporting a technical product to support sales activity
Proven experience of problem solving in terms of technical and non technical matters
Experience withing with ERM systems, ideally SAP
Well developed interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic and able to absorb new information quickly
