Internal Key Accounts Executive




West Midlands

Location: Redditch

They are seeking a passionate, result driven and self-motivated Internal Key Accounts Executive with proven track record who will thrive in a collaborative sales environment.

Front line sales enquiries:

  • This may entail activities such as price and delivery guidance, serial number checks, offering alternative stocked options and the issuing of formal FLS & Sales (price list) category quotations:

Order processing:

  • Responsible for the timely and accurate fulfilment of sales orders from the initial sale through to completion.
  • Manage the review and release of all necessary supporting order documentation; technical data sheets, shipping documentation, schedules and certification etc.
  • The use and fulfilment of client specific e-commerce platforms where assigned (e.g. Ani, Cooper or meerkat etc.).
  • Processing of contract orders (when and where trained, experienced and/or focussed).

Master Data Management:

  • Client Data. Help to ensure accuracy and maintenance of data on file e.g.: BP Remarks, BP Pricing, BP Catalogue Numbers, BP Logistical details, E-commerce access etc.
  • Item Master Data; Help to ensure accuracy of items on file; mandatory fields, descriptions and price etc.

Establish long-term collaborative & supportive relationships with both colleagues and clients:

  • Gain the respect and trust of your peers.
  • Support colleagues.
  • Provide ‘on-the-job’ training or guidance (where required).
  • Support client visits/review meetings as required


  • Qualified to CIPs/IoSCM Level 3 or above and have gained 3yrs+ professional experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet KPI targets adopting a positive, calm & level-headed approach.
  • Strong service orientation skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Good general MS Office knowledge, SAP is a plus.
  • Fast learner with the ability to work both independently and as a team.
  • A good working knowledge of Electric Motors or related Industrial Power Transmission equipment is advantageous.
