Responsibilities:
• The Inside Sales and Technical Support Representative is responsible for supporting all sales activities within an assigned region.
• This position facilitates overall regional growth through the coordination of activities with sales personnel, including; price management support, lead pre-qualification, quote follow-up, backlog reviews, customer relations initiatives, participation in business reviews, & ownership, and any other task directly related to supporting the field sales team and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Responsible for selling the company’s products, services and/or solutions
• Informs customers of company promotions and upgrades
• Qualifies leads, identifies decision makers, determines customer needs
• Recommends the most suitable products/services
• Identifies features and benefits, overcomes customer objections, and closes sales
• May respond to inquiries and resolve problems
• Responsible for managing commercial customer inquiries (Request for Proposal, Request for Quotation) and offer preparation within defined levels and in a timely manner
• Follow-up the transformation of inquiries (New and Existing Business Opportunities/NBOs) into customer orders, monitor sales and provide commercial support
• Provide full-scale commercial support to assigned accounts
• Assist other members of the Sales team (Area/Regional Sales Managers) in account management and NBO management
• As part of the commercial team, work to optimize the Business Units’ revenue and margins in the respective region by growing the existing and seeking opportunities for new business
• Qualify and manage/distribute leads generated through any of the main channels – Web, Tradeshows, Marketing and other
• Reporting on new and existing business using the company’s CRM, ERP and BI systems
• Monitor and communicate market trends and benchmark them with the active customer demand trends

• Build solid relationship with current and prospective customers by providing top-quality customer support
• Assist in problem solving whenever necessary and help in after-sales order management and delivery coordination
• Address and coordinate internally technical customer inquiries.
• Fulfil other ad-hoc or case-specific tasks as per the direct manager’s request and guidance
• Ensure accurate, timely and quality execution of the daily work following the defined procedures
• Ensure any sensitive company information is kept strictly private does not misuse the company’s name and trust
• Prepare, enter, verify, acknowledge, document, log, coordinate, modify and/ or expedite customer orders or associated documents.
• Will have to screen, analyse and route customer service requests. Ensure request are responded to in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of customer communications and actions taken
• As necessary, leverage field resources or distribution partners to manage sales transactions
Requirements:
• A university degree and 0-2 years of experience (i.e. Bachelors degree)
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
• Experience of working within IoT environment, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• EMEA foreign language German is required
• Organize customers meeting and /or visits to reinforce the relationship.
