Electrical Field Service Engineer

40-50k

Salary: £40k basic (OTE £55k-£59k) + Car + Car Fuel
The Company/ Sector: Machine Tools
The Role:
- To carry out the service, repair and installation of high specification 5 axis horizontal and vertical machine tools.
- Travel through-out the UK and may involve short trips abroad.
Requirements:
- Able to fault find, diagnose and correct errors on 5 axis CNC Machine tools.
- Be conversant with Siemens 840D Control systems and able to interrogate control software.
- Be able to interrogate PLC programs using Siemens’ S7
- Preferably time served engineer.
Able to work on own initiative with good communication skills. - Previous experience with either a Machine tool builder or the maintenance in industry.
Advantage to have worked in a service environment. - Working away from home for short periods of time.
