The Company:
| One of the UKs leading Large Format Digital POS Manufacturers has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineer. Providing a maintenance service to both the building and printing plant to include Digital / Lithographic / Screen and finishing machinery. Assisting in fault-finding, installations, and repairs. |
| The Role:
· To provide breakdown response to the Group of Companies · Regular lighting maintenance of all buildings that the Group of Companies own. · Assist with Ad-hoc installation projects · Timely completion of weekly job sheets · Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance · Diagnosing faults · Repairing equipment · Obtaining specialist components, fixtures, or fittings · Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation · Creating maintenance procedures · Managing stocks of supplies and equipment · Equipment Maintenance – Oversee the regular maintenance and inspection of tools and equipment to ensure they meet safety standards |
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4-years’ time served apprenticeship is essential
- Maths & English GCSE – Grade 4 or higher
- City and Guilds 18th Edition Certificate
- Qualified to part 1 and 2 City and Guilds for electrical installations
- Experience working on machinery
- Lithographic knowledge is desirable
- General screen-printing knowledge will be required in this role
- General building maintenance experience is required
