Our client is a specialist within the Construction Chemicals, Fixings & Fittings sector.
The Role:
• As the Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining positive relationships with the current customer base and securing new business within your territory.
• A primary objective is to grow the turnover, brand, and reputation of the business
• Maintain regular and effective communication with existing customers to understand their needs, exceed expectations, and maximize business opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with Merchants, Distributors and Wholesalers.
Requirements:
• Previous experience within sales to the B2B fixings, fasteners, and resin market.
• Initiative-taking and capable of working successfully using your own initiative.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and develop customer relationships.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Business focused.
• Results driven.
• Strong record of achieving (and exceeding) sales targets.
• Technical ability/knowledge of the fixings industry preferred.
