The Company:

As part of their continued expansion, they are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development & Area Sales Manager to grow their market presence in a defined territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- As a Business Development & Area Sales Manager, you will drive regional sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to increase revenue and expand market share
- Identify and engage key customers, including bakeries, cafes, patisseries, food processors, and food-to-go businesses
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with decision-makers, providing tailored packaging solutions that meet their needs
- Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to highlight the benefits of their packaging solutions
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align strategies and enhance customer satisfaction
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments, providing valuable insights to the management team
- Ability to plan, communicate effectively, and close deals will be essential in exceeding sales targets
- Use CRM software through each stage of the sales process from new idea/prospect, through to conversion and general day-to-day account management
- Prepare detailed sales forecasts, reports, and performance analytics using Power BI and relevant tools
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and generate leads

Qualifications & Skills:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Preferred: Track record of successful sales experience, ideally within the packaging or related industry
- Preferred: In-depth knowledge of the bakery sector, including its trends, challenges, and customer preferences
- Essential: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Essential: Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to business development
- Essential: Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment in a fast-paced setting
- Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software
- Essential: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
