As a Brand Manager for Adhesives and Sealants, your primary responsibility will be to lead and strengthen the brand presence across the UK market. You will oversee brand strategy, market positioning, and performance, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision and the wider European Group objectives.
In this role, you will act as the key liaison between the UK sales operations, their suppliers and the European Group, supporting commercial and technical teams, coordinating marketing initiatives, and ensuring consistent brand development.
The Role:
Brand Strategy and Market Development
- Develop and implement brand strategies to increase visibility, awareness, and profitability in the UK market.
- Ensure alignment with European group standards and long-term strategic objectives.
- Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and product positioning.
- Define and monitor brand performance metrics, ensuring the delivery of measurable results.
Commercial and Technical Support
- Collaborate closely with Area Sales Managers and other sales functions to support commercial goals.
- Provide guidance on brand messaging, customer engagement, and promotional initiatives.
- Offer technical support and training on the brand’s product portfolio to ensure consistent and knowledgeable representation across all regions.
- Develop new business.
Marketing and Communication
- Coordinate marketing campaigns, digital presence, and promotional materials in collaboration with the European group.
- Oversee local events, trade fairs, and advertising initiatives to strengthen brand identity.
- Ensure all communication materials accurately reflect the brand’s values, positioning, and technical excellence.
Collaboration (European Group)
- Serve as the main point of contact for all UK-related brand activities within the European group.
- Share best practices, performance reports, and market insights with the European colleagues.
- Support cross-country brand initiatives and ensure consistent implementation across regions.
Reporting and Analysis
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of brand activities, campaigns, and results.
- Prepare regular reports on brand performance and market developments for management and European partners.
Requirements:
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in brand management within an industrial, chemical, or technical sector.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and reporting systems.
- Strong business development skills.
