The Role:
- You will work with some of the UK’s best engineering businesses, delivering excellence to enhance their operation and drive engineering credibility throughout the business and their customers.
- Through exceptional precision engineering insight, you will showcase their capability, and alongside the business development team, you will play a crucial part in their operation.
- As an Applications Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting their largest customers through the delivery of CNC manufacturing projects.
- You will provide on-site technical support, delivering full turn-key projects (CAM Programming), guiding customers on methods of manufacture, advising customers of the right cutting tool for the right job, and everything in between.
Requirements:
- Broad understanding of engineering disciplines (Aerospace ESSENTIAL)
- Extensive CAD / CAM Experience (Siemens NX) – ESSENTIAL
- Recent experiences of Proving out / Running of CNC Machines
- Ability to understand and edit NC code
- Good knowledge of cutting tools and associated brands
- Be competent in running cutting tool trials on-site
- Commercial mindset with the intent of driving profit growth
- Great communication skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills, keeping CRM systems updated
- Autonomy of role using a high degree of intensity and professionalism, to get the task completed and keep all relevant parties up to date

- Motivated to be successful, both as an individual and as part of a team
